US was a **** album, but they picked some of the best songs as singles. Expensive was the best song on Unbreakable Smile though and could have been her Worth It, but they totally screwed up any chance of it being a hit by not making it the lead or second single, and then moving onto a random reissue track.

who knows none of us are working for any label but i imagine they talk about deadlines and plans for the era or suggestions on how it should sound

Putting out a record is a HUGE undertaking. What isn't there to discuss? A&R, fees, publishing, art direction, release schedule...
