No, it's not an excuse but it's still their fault. Like when I see a Lady Gaga vs Another Fave comparison thread I'm like "Oh, I will say both are good
", but then I see monsters saying disgusting things about my other fave and that automatically changes my answer to "My Other Fave >>>> Lady Gaga
But I still like her and her music, there are other artists I hate but Lady Gaga isn't one of them
