Yeah, a lot of my friends who prefer more "action" in films didn't like it as much as I did and some of my other friends loved it. It's quite polarising.

There's suspense. There's pretty much no jump scares (arguably one or two, but I didn't find them that jumpy). The film moves at a pretty slow pace, and it's more about this overwhelming sense of paranoia and discomfort that's throughout the whole film, and how that sort of stays with you after the film has ended.

Babadook was horrible. From that annoying little kid to the lame story. It was just a mess. Avoid.

You can get them at a regular grocery store. As well as places like Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, Publix...etc. Grocery stores are the most convenient though.
