From what I've seen on the highlights, Genie looked quite dizzy, she was walking slowly between games as if she was still struggling with the dizziness from the concussion
+ it was super windy, which is not good for her game. Her timing was very off
+ Cornet played very well and read Genie's shots
= the lopsided scoreline
Maria´s draw is good. As long as she does't withdraw, then I´ll be satisfied.

Everyone here knows my *slight* dislike for Sharapova being a Serena fan () but of all the top players she has the hardest draw (top players being top 8)
She has Pavlyuchenkova in R3 and Bencic/Kuznetsova in R4. Of all the useless girls in the 9-16 range she gets Pavs who could actually wipe her off the court and Bencic (or Kuzzy who has won her last two tournaments she played). Then if she makes it past that she has a QF with Serena most likely (or Queen Woz who is 2-0 vs Maria at majors). After all of that she might get a SF with Kvitova, then an Azarenka F
I root for Venus every Aussie Open! lol shame she hasn't had better results over the years
low key perched for Azarenka / Muga / obvi Serena / Drama Bouchard (I lived for her US Open run, then tragedy struck, who doesn't love a good dramatic comeback)

RG - the real chance to snatch the 6th slam; clay, will get match practice, Serena might tank to focus on W and Olympics
W - grass is no longer her surface + Serena
US - no, Serena or Aza will win
+Olympics - Serena will snatch wigs and grab another gold
