circus always felt like blackouts lil sister to me
I viewed Circus as a totally different turn from Blackout.
I always viewed Femme Fatale as blackout's little sister.
I thought her team was trying to recreate the dance themes for FF as they did with Blackout but using more light elements versus urban elements.
By the way, Amnesia is EVERYTHING.
So when Oops! is certified, the Britney era will be the only era without a certified video (GH:MP obviously doesn't count ) and Slave should hopefully be certified next year, maybe
Circus was an example of classic Britney Spears, and "classic Britney Spears" is a lot of things musically since she went in many directions during her peak while staying popular, so that's why the album is incohesive.
It has elements of power pop Britney, personal Britney, dance Britney and sex Britney. FF is the lighter version of Blackout. Blackout has more of a darker theme/feel while FF has more of a lighter feel with its EDM beats. Both are albums filled with bop after bop and mindless lyrics.
