WATCH the commercial sis. it's clear as day. the "superbowl" and the "grammys" (rihanna's representing the grammy's) are coin tossing to see who goes first. cbs is promoting it together because both are on the same channel this year (which usually doesn't happen).

I mean, the more moments to shine and get out there and get the GP excited the better, obviously.

But based on the commercial and the info that's been released about their halftime show performance already, it seems as if Rih will be focused on Grammys and anything else tour/album related at that point.
