Back to the "Love Me" praise. Such a sweet, deep, romantic & empowering song. I listened to it so much post-break up, but you guys I have just started dating a new guy and he is SO PERFECT and we've only had two days but last night he came over, and even though he starts work at 4AM! He stayed with me until like 2am and I woke up holding him and it was so perfect. Ugh.
I have really come to appreciate BTGOG. The lyrics and production are absolutely flawless and this really feels like the perfect transition from Teenage Dream era to PRISM. Katy has finally matured from the candy queen; she fell from Cloud Nine and she's picking herself back up...she's stronger. I'm surprised this song didn't get any Grammy noms (unless her team was dumb enough to not submit it). She needs to keep doing these types of songs because they really show off not only her vocal talent but her ability to create emotional music, not just bops. Katy has such an eclectic personality and I want her to make that known through her music...it's the only vehicle she has between her and the GP. Choose Your Battles is also another highlight, it teaches a truth that nobody can deny and she is clearly talking about her relationships...which makes it just that much more relatable. PRISM matures as the songs go on, KP4 doesn't have to be dark...it needs to be where Katy is in life.

TD is her best song from TD. It's true. But California Gurls concept pretty much set the whole era. I still hear it on the radio. CG is iconic just as TD and u must deal.

Prism would've been at 6 mln worldwide at this time.
