If you are questioning a large percentage of the human race and the validity of their "beauty" based on that of skin color it is racist. No way to spin it.

Yeah I would never rule out an entire race. I've also been trying to avoid the opposite of "I love [x race] people" because I haven't met all of them, and to hold everyone to that standard is unfair and frankly racist. I've been making a conscious effort to not say broad terms about any race, positive or negative. It's racist either way.

I'm all for a good racist joke (aimed to any race, including my own), especially to annoy certain people/fanbases, but I'm not racist. I believe we're all equal and wouldn't push anyone off my bed based on their skin color.



However I do understand what a joke can cause if it's not said to anyone with the maturity to get that it's only a joke.

Just the consideration of whether or not an ethnicity is 'desirable' is troubling. A non-prejudicial position to hold on that would be NEUTRAL. It would be to assess individuals as individuals.

Why make the determination that you don't find ANY member of an ethnicity attractive? To any rational person, that doesn't make sense.

The answer can be found by repeatedly asking yourself "why do I think that?" and cornering your true feelings. A lot of people don't. They just embrace their prejudice as fact.

There's pretty much no point to basically exclude entire races (such a vast and diverse ones at that.)

I mean it's one thing to be more attracted to mostly white guys or mostly asians but why do people think that just because of that they need to exclude an entire race? Especially publicly. Like why not just decline (or rudely block if you want). People try to defend it with the "preference" argument but they're always missing the point if they do that.

So what if the criteria was based off of something that didn't exclude an entire race, like skin tone? So the person would date light-skinned blacks (like Rihanna/Beyonce), light-skinned hispanics (like Shakira.), light-skinned Asians etc. etc.

Would that be okay then? A person can't control their height just as much as they can't control their skin tone (outside of the normal ranges of tanning). If it is okay to discriminate ("preference") based on height, then it should be okay with skin tone too then right?

People are still ignoring the fact that other poc exclude entire races but don't get the amount of hatred that whites do. Demonizing ONLY white people when minorities are racist towards other minorities isn't cool either.

Each person has a right to a preference without being afraid of criticism. People can't control who they are attracted to and they generally have an idea of who they want to love and be with. No one has a right to interfere with that.
