I've come to a conclusion on why dog people say they dislike cats because they've 'never found a cat that liked them'. Dogs love literally everyone, and you don't have to work for their affection, they just give it to you. But with cats, you have to actually put effort and time into gaining their trust and love, so for dog people that are used to their dogs openly showing affection at the drop of a hat, they view this as cats being cold. But they're not, cats are just more like humans in that way, because they don't blindly love anyone that comes near them, they have to get to know you first. No wonder they say psychopaths tend not to like cats, cats are too human like
