Mare needs to be a main cast member next season, she was fantastic this season even though her character was arguably the most one dimensional...but that one dimension served so many kiis

I agree. She's pretty amazing!

And Eh John was pretty boring. I was pretty hyped on the murder mystery-ish aspect of the story early on, but Ryan Murphy can't do whodunnits imo so John had the disadvantage of having lackluster story/development. The Countess falls in that trap too where she improved a bit too late in the show. The countess in the beginning of the show and the one at the end are two completely different characters, and there was nothing that happened that caused that change either Pretty messy.

Angela, Kathy and Mare should run the show next season. I would love to see Jessica and Frances return also.

Sarah should play her usual part, Evan and Denis as well.

Wes, Chloe, Cheyenne can all go. Matt I don't really care stay or go

(I didn't include Gaga because I assume she'll be working on music, but I would love to see her come back next season, I especially loved her scene with Mare this past week, but if she does I either want a massive role again, or something short, but I will not accept Gaga to appear just to die like countless characters have this season. I also don't want Gaga to be known as just an American Horror Story actress, it would be nice to see her venture outside of the Ryan Murphy brand)

Also I'd love to see Emma return, she was great in Coven.

This past episode was so complex, they crammed so much into the 45 minute time slot. It was fantastic, this is how every episode should be next season!

Now in 'Battle Royale' we see a very well shaved Matt Bomer brought to the outside of the Hotel.



So, basically he had the time to shave before he died?

I was letdown by this episode. I've enjoyed this season up until now, but it's starting to feel like Freak Show where the final episodes are mostly filler.

Hopefully next season is his last. Ryan has more than proven through his work that he can't do TV series past the second. And for this one to end at season 6, it would fall in line with the rest of his shows that have been great in the beginning only to falter and end in a flame of shame (Glee and Nip/Tuck).

The most glaring mess was seeing Tristan and Liz together. From what I can remember, they had never interacted, and the show never teased anything. We just open the episode to them having sex and them being in love just so we can get Tristan out of the way so Finn can return as Valentino (who was out for revenge but changes his mind as soon as he sees TC), and so Liz is justify in killing TC to the sounds of Hotline Bling. And then we have the mess with TC and these damn kids. You can't tell me that she cared for those blonde hair kids when we haven't see her with them sans when she showed the gay man's son the room.

I don't think I can love this season as much as the Murder House, Asylum, and Coven because there was way too much inconsistencies going on. It was beautiful to look at and Gaga was great in it, but Ryan just can't do it.

"Battle Royale" is wasted space, an opportunity to tie up loose ends before the finale, but instead it continues to meander, giving inconsequential plots and disgusting diversions. At this point, there's no real way for Hotel to recover from the mess.

Guys, i just read a theory, that the way all the seasons are connected is that, this whole thing is happening at Summer Camp(which could be the final season) and each season is suppose to be a campfire horror story.

As unoriginal as "it was just a dream plot"

I don't know if seasons should've ever connected, thinking about it. They were fine as stand alone mini series' like True Detective, Fargo (although that does connect somewhat but in a more obvious way and realistic way)

I hated the Queenie cameo. It felt unnecessary and out of place. The whole Witches VS Ghost was cringe-worthy.

And wouldn't people be talking about how witches exist? Why would anyone be shocked about ghosts when witches are walking around like nothings wrong?

So: VAMPIRE < WITCH < GHOST, turns out. Not sure where ALIEN fits in there, but we'll no doubt find out later this year when we watch American Horror Story: Flying Saucer.

The coffee can containing Donovan's ashes was labeled 'Campfire Gold'. 'Campfire Gold' was also used in Freakshow, in a scene with Elsa Mars.
I think this is a huge clue, and that the next season it's really going to be Summer Camp.

And if the rumors are true, that could be the final season, and each season turns out to be a campfire horror story.
