No, I don't see how someone else being overweight directly affects me. Are they making me pay for their food. Am I getting their medical bills. No, so why should I even give it a second thought. The world would be so much better if people stopped being so nosy about how other people are living their lives. It's not up to me to worry if a stranger has perfect health or not and besides you don't have to be overweight to be unhealthy so if you're going that route you might as well just worry about everybody

well if you're american, you do pay for their hefty medical bills
you also pay for their food if they claim disability for being too fat

Not everybody who's fat (no need for quotation marks, its not subjective) has medical bills
but most fats who do have medical bills have hefty ones and chances are they're not the ones paying for it

I don't know why I just read through all of these responses when they're making me feel sick to my stomach. I could literally cry right now thinking about how much I wish every human being could love every other human being. Without judging, without shaming. Unless somebody else is putting you or somebody else in danger, it should not and does not affect you whatsoever. So just accept them for who/what they are, and most importantly LOVE them.

See this is the problem. Meghan is not medically obese. She's overweight at best but even then she's not all that large. A person isn't super thin and y'all are acting like they're 500 pounds and house ridden

Well you just did what I said. Turn her being overweight into a positive. It's called overweight for a reason. I get it, people come in all different shapes and sizes, but don't pretend as if being overweight is something anyone should stride for.

you don't have to be super morbidly obese to be obese
a bedridden 500 lb person is like obese class 3 or beyond
Meghan is most likely a "smaller" obese class 1
but she apparently doesn't feel shamed for being so large
