WAIT, so Gaga & Chloe are friends?
She better get her for a music video

Like with Chloë [Sevigny]—she’s my friend and we’re always laughing right before they yell “action” [but then] it’s like we’ve thrown it all out the window and we just zap into our zones.

Touring is the only facet of the music industry that still rakes in a lot of money (and will likely never go out of style), and no one's going to waste money paying to see Rachel Platten, Jeremih, or Charlie Puth in an arena. Only way the industry can support itself is if it embraces new acts who are actually destined to become superstars.
Maybe this will be the wake up call that they need to start adding some flavor to their rosters.

I agree. Let's bring the talent back into music

He tried it this season with some show with Erika Christianson but it was a gigantic flop. Canceled before episode 3.
He was disgusting on Gossip Girl tho. I never understood the love for his character considering what a sleaze he was. He never deserved Queen Blaire.

At first I didn't like it much, the first episode was very pretentious, borderline annoying. But the story developed so well tbh. Rami is a great actor too, that you believe the craziness of the show because of him.

You'd be shocked at how cheap people are. The ones complaining about how paying $9.99 a month for Spotify premium is unfair and too much money are the same ones with a brand new iPhone just days after an "upgraded" version is released.
People are just incredibly ignorant about how the economy works and think everything should just be handed right to them on a silver platter.

Tbh, the whole "the industry is dying because music sucks now" thing has never made any sense, and isn't true at all.
Even back in 2000 the music industry was full of talentless people, as much as now. Baha Men, Sisqo, Shaggy, NSYNC, and even damn Aaron Carter & Lil Romeo were doing multi-platinum.
The decline has nothing to do with 'real artists disappearing'. People just don't wanna buy CDs anymore. Streaming is more convenient and 'in', so even if suddenly every artist in the industry was full of personality and talent, sales would still decline. Streaming is the future either way. It's unpreventable. It's how the evolution of the industry works. Adele is a one-time case, an anomaly.

!!!!
People expect things like music, movies, tv, etc to just magically be there whenever they want to. And they have the nerve to call artists "greedy" for demanding the proper reimbursement of funds to produce the music they expect to be in their lives.
Honestly, even buying albums or paying for iTunes isn't even that expensive. It was affordable for me when I had a crappy minimum wage job.

It's different, you can actually easily get music for free, it's not that easy to get a show ticket for free.

As ToLove said, people just are ignorant and have hypocritical expectations for what something should be worth.
People going to McDonalds to buy a $10 meal that lasts for 20 minutes and they know is literally poison and helping greedy corporations, already rich, get richer. Then have a problem spending $10 on music that lasts forever isn't poison and is helping artists who actually need the paycheck.
