This isn't too bad but could be much better. Only ~650,000 from catalog sales if we subtract the 800,000 from Christmas + Infinity.
I know album sales are down everywhere but much more could be done. No reason why Whitney's catalog is moving 2M+ without a new release and Mariah is under 1M. Sony could be doing much more now that Mariah is back "home." I expect smarter ways of marketing her catalog. Vegas is just a start. She could think more large scale and long term similar to what they did with Michael Jackson.
