There's no need for Luke because he doesn't make quality, he makes hits, and he hasn't made hits since 2013. Therefore he's useless and would drag Katy down. He didn't even produce Sugar, so it's not his hit. He co-wrote it and as we all know that could mean anything, lyrically or melodically. Even Max is getting a bit stale. He's had his fair share of duds this year. Just look at Demi's era underperforming even with full support from Max.

I agree that Benny is the solution. If she wants mainstream pop, Benny Blanco, StarGate, Ryan Tedder, Greg Kurstin are the way to go. But I'd prefer if she also worked with some lesser-known producers instead of just the big names.

I'm not sure that Capitol still gives her deadlines. Sure, It's a label who needs the money but let's not forget that Katy is their biggest artist and one of the most loved ones by the label's CEO. When Katy wants to release, she'll do It.

She's their crown jewel success wise but it's not act like they're not spending shitload of money on her promo and A-list producers. After terrible year and all the money wasted on no names like Tori Kelly they will definitely demand a KP album in 2016. The CEO loves her as long as there's profit.

Now let's not blame deadlines, she was on rush on Teenage Dream, PRISM's deadline was like january 2014, she was the one that wanted everything out before that

Y'all are getting me so nervous abkut KP4 please, Katy, don't be lazy, and don't release another crap record like Prism. I feel like she HAS to realize she needs to release something mature and quality at this stage in her career, but it's Katy and she probably doesn't realize that. She needs someone who won't make her sound so manufactured like all the producers she works with currently. Ryan Tedder could do that. Listen to his stuff with Adele and Gavin DeGraw and a bunch of others. Still pop, but their raw voices still shine through

He produced an entire album of good songs with Ryn Weaver's The Fool, but stay sleep.

Plus Animals (Maroon 5), Black Widow (Iggy Azalea), Don't (Ed Sheeran), Why Try (Ariana Grande), Lifted Up (Passion Pit), Same Old Love (Selena Gomez), When Love Hurts (JoJo)... the versatility.

If Benny and Stargate give their best to Katy, which they should, it'd be amazing. A lyrically-stronger This Moment would be a great lead single to move into her mature era. That kind of sound, like This Moment, or Diamonds (Rih) is what could work. It's mature but it's still pop and upbeat and catchy. And she could show off her vocals.
