I don't even think Mani's the issue here, when she gets offered a project like this she'll take it (as much as Mani girls want to deny it) and I'm here for it. It's become increasingly obvious that Ally is the one that seems to do most of the 'shading', people just like to dismiss it because she's somewhat irrelevant.

Ugh Normani is so ****ing jealous and toxic!!! The fact Camila is the one that gets **** when this one is the one ALWAYS instigating drama. She's so negative and she knows the others will follow her **** including the whole stanbase since she's the one always starting **** .. Smh. Shame on ally too.

I actually feel so sad. These girls had such a strong bond, and I would have thought whatever projects they pursued individually they'd still love and respect each other. Yes Camila is to blame for the cause of this, but I didn't think it'd get this type of reaction from the other girls. Lauren has been the only one to maintain a professional outlook, and she's going about it in the right way but I do think a part of Mani's furstrations and to a larger extent Ally's, comes from jealousy. It could have been so different
I just wish they wouldn't air their dirty laundry on social media - no matter how much they resent C for this. Lauren is probably just as upset but she's kept it off social media, now that is a person who has the professional touch and will last in this industry. Ally should take notes.

Its because Epic is actually testing the water with Camila, from the get go, they don't seem really interesting with the group. You can tell by how they pushed back their album and the lack of promo and exposure. Accidently, Camila manage to have this connection within the industry, i can see they are probably wanting her as solo act after 5H2, in another scenario they are letting Camila to do a duet because they probably didn't have the plan for a long term for the gorup, so when Republic showing interest in Camila off course they are happy with it, i'm pretty sure Republic will give pretty much money to Epic if its really happening.
Normani and the other had been jelly because they know about it, they are afraid with their career which is understandable imo. They will have no career if one of the girl left, let alone if its the most popular one.

Ally really does need to stop putting all this out on social media. If the fans got wind of her messy sister in law's comments, there's no way that the media won't pick up on it - if not now, then later.

I was so mad last night after I saw these tweets. They just keep adding fuel into the fire and then expects us to buy their whole fake friendship ******** in interviews. They're not stupid either, they know what they're doing because the fanbase is incredibly involved and we know what's going on behind the scenes.
This isn't professional, it's petty and it's immature and it's crazy that they can't hide their bitterness anymore. Been saying it since day 1... Normani is salty as **** and we all know the bitch would jump to this opportunity without giving it a second thought, especially if it's because she would make Camila or any of the other girls in the group upset.

It's just disrespectful on Camila's part to be doing this solo project right now when 5H are in the midst of making their second album. If I were in a band, I'd be pissed too if one of my bandmates was busy promoting a solo project instead of putting 100% of his or her energy into our forthcoming album. I'd happily support his or her solo projects if we were on break/disbanded, but I definitely would not if we were still together and about to release an album.

Actually, if there's a time when Fifth Harmony has been unactive, it's this time. We're gonna blame the girl because she makes the most out of ha time too? :toofunny2;

Exactly. If Camila miss any schedule to choose promoting IKWYDLS instead then they can talk. But they are pretty much doing nothing right now, its not Camila's fault if her holiday break filled with so many promo schedule on national television

Nobody would have a problem with this if Camila had just waited until the group made a name for themselves first. Also, stop using Dinah's Moana role as if it's the same. They ALL would have benefited from that bc they'd be able to be on the soundtrack. How is the group benefitting from a hit solo song so early in their career?
|
But this is just a possibility, sis. I'm sure if this Moana film turns out to be musical (as pretty much every single Disney movie), Dinah would have a ton of solo songs in there. And also, what's a bigger platform than Disney? Dinah was making that **** solo, boo. Any speculation about the girls being on the soundtrack if she had gotten the role is just that... speculation.
Also, why are we ignoring the fact that Camila is always announced as "...and, from Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello"??? I'm sure if she gains any sort of recognition, this would also give the group, as a whole, some exposure. Of course this will push her the most, but she is STILL a part of this group, and I don't see how this, aside from the girls being jealous, affect the group's shot at making it big.

Well, I can understand the anger, tbh. These girls have had 1 minor hit and they're at a pivotal time in their career. I'm sure there wouldn't have been as much pushback if the group was already established and Camilla did this, but they aren't. It just seems really opportunistic, and not in a good way. Like get your group off the ground first before you go doing songs with other artists.

Camila may have been there to record her parts, which I guess is all she technically needs to be there for, but it completely throws off the group dynamic to have four of the girls recording all of their parts together while the fifth records her parts individually because she has a solo project to promote while the other girls are recording. And did Camila's vocals just magically appear on the track? She could have simply written the song with her friend and left it at that. But she went to a studio, recorded vocals for it, filmed a video for it, has promoted, etc. She could have easily turned down any offer she received from Shawn and/or his label to lend vocals on the track. Another female artist who doesn't have group commitments could have been used, Camila still would have received her royalty checks, and it would have helped establish her as a songwriter without hurting the group dynamic.

Ignoring the fact that there are also pictures of them in the studio without Lauren and Ally, is not gonna make your point less retarded, boo. A picture doesn't mean ****. Y'all wanna sit here and act like it's okay that the girl act unprofessional, petty and shady over this side project just because it's slaying the chart, while all the other are doing movie auditions, magazine covers talking 'bout their solo projects, photoshoots, etc.

!!!
People keep forgetting this. It's like the bitches are bounded by blood or something. They were literally strangers 3 years ago.

Like they all haven't been vocal about their different styles and musical tastes before in dozens of interviews
Because of course cookie-baking christian sunshine Ally "likes it a little rough", or alternative goth the 1975/lana del rey worshiping girl wants to "cruise with the top down". We all know they all don't like the music they make and its not their persona and Camila saying she's more of a mellow-acousting songwriting type of artists makes her a villain or it's bad because...

There are definitely things going behind the scenes we can't even know, so stop jumping in conclusions and pretending you know everything, cause you don't.

Mother Theresa, sorry, Camila should have rejected the duet because her saints, I mean, "friends" would be upset if she left the recording studio a couple of hours earlier and of course it threw off their whole creative vibe off. Because, duh, we all know they produce and write their own music and, duh, they say it in every interview they just LOVE to hang out with each other. It's clear isn't it? They all love each other ♥
I mean, god, I just wish Camila would've waited a year longer so maybe Normani could've done it first, right?. I'm sure it would've been okay with the fandom after Dinah blew up from the Moana exposure right?
Damn, Camila is so shady for trying to further her career outside a group that will last no longer than 2 albums. And, ugh, she's promoting the song and talking about it as if she loves it and it represents her? SHAME ON HER! Why doesn't she underplay it? Like why is she acting so excited about her own damn song she wrote on interviews? Ugh, ugh, ugh... so shady, Camila!
At the end of the day, we all know Camila is the bitch because she broke the blood-oath they made 3 years ago when they auditioned as solo artists on The X Factor.
Y'all are right, OT4 stans. Don't know how I didn't see it before.
