The Velvet Rope is my #1 album in her discography. Forevermore... Its position is UNTOUCHABLE. It's her magnum opus. A complete journey... a story of the struggle with the inner demons & recovery from it. Imo itt's her most personal album 2 date. I love the change of mood between What About & Every Time. It's totally understandable that those who prefer more pop-ish tunes won't appeciate it.

Hey y'all, so Ace said I could revive the Janet Essentials Rate that never got finished (or started) and I think it'll be a cute idea.
For those who don't know, Essentials are where we rate everything but the singles. So album tracks, b-sides and so on.

Here's a list of tracks I compiled for the rate but I want to run it through here to see if you guys see any omissions.

Y'all better not pay the mixtapes complete dust. You'll Never Find (A Love Like Mine) is better than any of the Disappoint tracks that would be in this rate.

Subby, the list looks great. I looked at her super old singles rate and the host used all of those promo singles, but honestly I feel like that is your call since none of them really got a proper send to radio.
