Maybe? And why shouldn't they be jealous? Why is Camila the only one who allowed to release a solo song and get away with it? If her releasing a solo song is supposed to in some roundabout way help the group as a whole, why don't the other four girls just release solo songs too, under the guise that they are doing it for the group? Because it would be stupid for girls in a GROUP to release solo songs when they should be releasing songs TOGETHER.

The ironic thing is that one of them almost DID get a part in a movie, and the entire fandom campaigned for her to get the part  AND it was a musical where she would have sung a majority of an entire ALBUM without the rest of the group, so the "well acting isn't their primary focus, singing is, so that would have been different" excuse makes absolutely no sense.

Y'all are just going to ignore that it's strange for her to be doing solo stuff before the group has even made a name for themselves? Hell, even Kelly & Michelle (both went solo before Bey) released solo work AFTER DC made a name for themselves. This group is a joke, I'd be genuinely shocked if their second album is actually released.

Exactly. It's obviously fine for people in a group to release solo stuff when the group is on hiatus or disbanded, but you shouldn't be releasing solo material when your group is in the middle of recording their second, possible breakthrough album. What's not to get here? There's a time and place for everything...

I think what's most interesting is her label/management allowing her to release/promote the song and being so supportive. I wouldn't be surprised if they're testing the waters and after 5H2 they all take 'some time off' and she comes out with her own single. If that takes off I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Camilla album is 2017.

It really depends. It's not as bad since it isn't music related. If it's a cameo it's cool, if one of them being a main character on a disney sitcom then it's not ok. And if it leads to a clash of schedules then it's wrong point blank.

Being an adult is about assuming responsibility for yourself. Yet, you're both are putting the blame on her for their being jealous. What sense does that make?
You would have an actual argument if she collaborated with some female band who is direct competition for them, but that's not so, is it? She collaborated with an artist in a totally different lane, and did a song in a totally different genre.

This is another point everyone seems to be forgetting. Republic must have needed to get Epic's permission to release this duet since Camila's contractually linked to Epic as part of 5H. So Epic has definitely been really shady in all of this, since they easily could have just nipped this in the bud before it even became a problem.

1. Camila is pushed too much while Dinah is the underdog. People want the underdog to win
2. Voice actors rarely get recognition and remembered for their work.
3. The stans banked on the hope that 5H will pull a Demi with Let It Go.
So yeah, obviously Dinah deserves to get a chance at solo projects than Camila who has already had more than enough, like herself alone got 50% of solo stuff with 5H

As an adult you are supposed to honor your commitments. She made a commitment to Fifth Harmony before she made a commitment to Shawn Mendes and his label, plain and simple. So, yes, it is her responsibility to work with them and prioritize 5H. If she wanted a solo career, she shouldn't have signed on to be in a girl group.
