Back in the hotel where the Special Ops are staying at, the Cop and the Doctor are gathering intelligence to put together to piece this together. The Spirit is communicating from afar and is surveying the district. He senses evil and warns the doctor and the cop right away.
One civilian is home watching television when she hears her baby start to cry upstairs. She walks upstairs to console her baby when she hears footsteps back downstairs. Already alerted about the numerous murders from days ago, she quickly locks the bedroom door and calls the police. However her phone line was cut and there's no signal. So she puts her baby in her crib, grabs a metal baseball bat, and slowly walks downstairs to search for intruders. Downstairs there is a large silhouette in the corner and she immediately dashes over and swings the bat, missing the man and bashing her wall in. He comes out of the shadows and wraps his hands around her neck and squeezes tightly. Her throat is slowly getting crushed and she's having trouble breathing. Any second now she knows she will be dead.
Just then the sound a a pin drops behind the man. He turns around and sees a gun pointed in his eye

I guess with the number of vigilantes dwindling, backstabbing was bound to happen.
