Isn't this kinda of her own fault though? Didn't she leak that Party Favors song to get her era going? I'm sure the label had its own plan for how the era was going to go. Seems to me that she sabotaged her self.

This is sadly true. They probably wanted to create a plan before doing anything. Hell, do we know if the album was actually suppose to be released this month? For all we know, they might have wanted her to wait until later in the year.

Like, she really does it all. Times like these that I wish that she had been signed with Island or Republic, especially with the former because they seem to have their artists' interest at heart and keep promoting no matter what.

I really just don't think that they made a good decision in kick-starting the era with Player. That song is just bland and doesn't really do a good job at sticking out from everything else that's on the radio. I think someone mentioned something about the label caring enough not to just drop the album now and cut all ties with her and I hope that's true.

My biggest hope right now is that All My Friends blows up to the point where they'll increase her promotion budget for the rest of the project. I guess we just have to see how things go with AMF because it seems like it's going to the deciding factor of how the next couple of weeks/months go.

This girl is just not happening and i love how people immediately blame the labels.. Do yall remember how Gaga had to promote herself, most big time stars made it with their raw talent and push, not by hoping their promo team gets them the exposure. If she would stand out alone she'd be big, but she is a product of a cute face and cute songs and then whats left? She's in the same boat as Ariana Grande, great cute faces but as an artist, the general public arent buying into them, at least yet.

First of all, Ariana was slaying right, left and center in the ME era, so it's not like she's waiting for her breakthrough moment like Tinashe.

Secondly, Tinashe had 3 mixtapes, all equally well received, before 2 On happened and the label wasn't even pushing her that much in the beginning. She earned the fanbase and the momentum all by herself, by working her ass off. She also wrote and produced her material, so...

Well, that's true. The music that she wrote and produced by herself may be, in my opinion, high quality, but it's not radio friendly or chart ready. But still, she's not as much of a label dependent artist as you're trying to make her out to be, that was my point. She's more than just a cute face picked up by a label. She earned every little bit of hype she had before her proper debut album.

So she really has no one to blame but herself for this happening. She's not some bit named artist who can just release things and take risks. She's had one hit song and a bunch of flop singles thus far. Hopefully she'll learn.
