Some people make it sound like you're only here for the charts and sales if you say you want her to get a number 1, but it's only because we want to see her succeed and showing all the other girls' how it's done. She doesn't need to get another huge hit ever again if she doesn't want, but it would be really nice. She can if she wants to, but does she want to? I doubt she really cares less about the charts at this point.

She will never have an hit like Irreplaceable again. The sooner you accept it, the better off you'll be. In order to grab yourself the hits like Irreplaceable, you need to be really savvy and corruptive (like Mathew and Jay-Z) because those kind of songs are usually shopped around and it's hard to get them. It also doesn't help that Beyonce is throwing shots at radio and record labels any chance she gets.

That's why the quality of her music and performances needs to be top-notch (to make up for the lack of big radio hits).

I dont care about sales too much, but I want her to deliver and make an impact again! Its in her, she has the ability to do literally any genre and any type of music. I want her to release another album that makes it undisputable that she is the #1. Adele might sell way more, but artistically and sonically, I want her to outshine her peers once again, cause many believe self-titled was a one-trick pony.

I think she won radio over with DrIL. They were even playing tf out of XO. But Bey rarely looks for ready made hits. Her songs are usually specially crafted. According to Neyo, Irreplaceable sounds nothing like the Demo. Most times, it's also Beyonce's spark and charisma that makes her songs a hit. Nobody could've pulled off Crazy In Love or Single Ladies. That's why Bey's songs either sticks or flops because she never looks for a hit.

I agree. Besides, the importance of huge radio hits is vastly overrated. Most of them don't stand the test of time and end up being outlasted by radio flops. Run The World stood the test of time way better than 70% of radio hits from 2011.

I Miss You is one of those songs that you sing acoustically and very passionately - just a mic and a light, or at the piano. Beyonce doesn't even bother to sing - the whole time she just shouts random notes alongside a backing track/backup singers. The way she butchers it...

The reason she is one of my main favorites is that every song she records is quite enjoyable after a couple of years. I could go back and listen every song on B'Day or 4 on repeat all day and I would never get bored. She is really amazing and as she said in her documentary, most artists look for quick little singles, she isn't here for that.

4 was artistically better than most other pop girls, so how is she a one-trick pony? I hate ATRL sometimes

With regards to comparing her artistically to Adele, I think it's hard to do so because Adele is only on her 3rd album whilst Bey is moving onto her 6th. But I see what you mean.
