21 obviously influenced(s) on 25's success but you don't sell 3,3M out of anticipation. The promo so far has been on point, Columbia is doing a rlly good job.

guys do you think Set Fire to the Rain has crossed the 10M WW sales mark yet? I know it was at 9M WW sales at some point.

the drop is huuge, but it was seriously expected, she had the full tracking week up until xmas.
and the elvis album is discounted

I knew the drop would come after christmas week. She couldnt continue at the pace she was going. You exhaust your market at some point & sales are always flat post xmas. This is where her sales will get more down to earth. But she's already done the hard work and can take her time getting another 2 million sales. Theres no rush she doesnt need any more speed records she's already broke all the relevant ones. People need to remember how long it took 21 to reach those numbers. Years.

Guys, can we just take a moment to appreciate how huge those sales are for first week in January/end of December for any album, let alone one that's already sold 2 million in the space of 6 weeks.
