I honestly don't think the album is coming before the tour. Because if it tanks she can't do promo for it at award shows or interviews because she's busy. That doesn't seem like a good business strategy. I could see them trying to release the album near the end of the tour and reboot it for a second leg like Beyonce.

Which is dumb in Rih's case for releasing singles and hyping up the album too soon. She better not cancel Valerian too.

There is no point in worrying about commericial performance at this point. I mean, it was clear from the performance of the singles that this wasn't going to be a smash album, but since June they have dropped the ball. Now she literally has no times to promote the album. She will probably have 2 months to promote the album properly before the tour and that's it.

At this point the biggest thing is getting this album released. I hope she is criticially acclaimed.

I didn't think of this. I don't know, I feel like it be out soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if she just gradually introduced new songs on the tour and the full body of work is released when she's ready to promote.
