she has 13... you're missing love the way you lie and live your life
How can you be mad when you only heard a snippet... if it got axed, it probably wasn't up to snuff. Probably for the best.
You people keep saying we've only heard a snippet like that matters. It doesn't. We got teased with the song and we want to hear the full thing. After this ridiculous year, we deserve that. Simple

!
Like we have a slight idea of what the song is. That part is enough for me to be interested in it. Just teasing it and then scrapping it & leaving folks empty handed isn't going to make people satisfied.
okay either glassjohn is certfied, out of his mind, crazy or... i know you guys don't like reading bigger paragraphs, but here are my thoughts/random ideas on everything.
i kind of think this almost a preparation to launch the single kiss it better. so hear me out, when i first heard the minute long demo snippet i got such a blast from the past. when i hear the beat and the softness of the vocals i picture 90's energy, youth in hipster-esque clothing, downtown la, harsh neon-colored neon lights (especially heavy pink lights), grunge, with a small hint of flashdance. i lowkey see her going with an aesthetic like that, it's more of a we found love, but even more underground. so this song gives me that idea of kind of a video aesthetic. now for mess that is glassjohn, what if wanted to string up a story line of this obsessive love one can have for another that i'd drive them to point of going insane. think mariah carey obsessed, but done more cinematic and less tacky/campy (sorry rocky). the music video would build on what glassjohn sets up a week preceding the launch of the single. then eventually glassjohn's meltdown becomes so heavy it results in the video being premiered through his twitter and the single going live right after. so basically the video would combine the aesthetic i described above with an obsessive storyline. i mean the whole campaign around this album has been to blur the lines between reality, art, and digital reality so they could of done this right? i just find it so hard to believe that no one from her camp or roc nation have shut him up because they can. he has to have breached at least one if not several contracts which is enough to silence him. i mean they've done that **** with other artists, they always find a way to shut someone up if they aren't co-operating properly.
what do you guys think? am i certified glassjohn crazy for even thinking of this?

yeah but its just beyond crazy, like why would they involved all those other people he was tweeting at, it was creepy and insane, not a set up for a single or Rihanna her self would have joined in.
Not some back street twitter account with 2k followers and a random youtube page (which later got done for copyright) leaking a horrible rent-a-rapper vocals over the barely audible production.

But i want to believe the promo theory SO much#
but that backstreet account with 2k followers caused a frenzy in the past three days and managed to get the story written about in major publications. i just feel like if this wasn't somehow linked to anti's release then why hasn't roc nation and rih shut him down? no one give me the "silent approach" will just make him go away. that **** doesn't work, people are only going to be more enticed and want to know what is going on the more they sleep on it. other artists, with other labels, who have had creative collaborators air out info that wasn't public info be slapped with both a cease and desist letter and further legal action. i get sometimes people don't listen to some legal action, but the label would find another way to have his social media outlets closed down too.

this is the exact vibe I want for a video as well (what(when)ever the single is). I've been imaging the dark green/pink neon esque colour palette for the music video for a while now. The 80's/90s movie kinda vibe to it. The KIB riff playing in the background. A modern throwback .

maybe they don't know, like Rihanna has been on holiday and news publications have been posting fake Anti news for months now so many her team just ignored it or didn't see it.
I think that's a good idea but I don't think they planned this out at all. There could be a big explanation in the end but ANTidairy just wasn't executed well. The fact that they gave out free phones (yes I'm still jelly), free tickets, and had a few live events for a FEW is weird. They unlocked the rooms at random times but in the grand scheme of things there's nothing to do with the rooms but wait for another room to be unlocked. Ok? This promo isn't effective. What is it supposed to achieve? Yes people know about ANTi, but do they care about it? Will this make them buy the album? Except for fans, no.
Visually it's all cool and it seems mysterious, but there's nothing for the fans to do but wait. And wait. And wait. John's meltdown seemed random but I do believe that it was real because he wasn't well known before Rih. KIB was teased since last year and it DOES sound promising. Imagine being in his position. You created what you think is the best song in years and Rih still hasn't released it yet because of industry politics. You'd be frustrated too.
Not only would he become famous off of that song being released, but he'd make the fans happy which is what every songwriter and producer wants at the end of the day, validation. He feels stifled and lashed out on Twitter. But like you said, idk why Roc Nation didn't shut him up sooner since they most likely signed contracts.
I also don't understand her schedule right now. She has to film Valerian soon, she has to rehearse and go on tour soon, and if she releases ANTi, she has to promote that too. How will she have time to rehearse for a MOVIE, a TOUR, and an album with music videos/singles, plus award show performances and interviews, all while being on tour?
There's literally no time for all of this to happen. I think that she is gonna cancel the movie role or push back the tour. One of the two is gonna happen, and the album might not even come out because how will she do promo for it? This era is a disgusting mess.

i just don't know what to believe,
if we pull rih out of the equation, you wouldn't think some executive at roc nation wouldn't have already looked into the legal department and had him gagged? three days of non-stop vomiting bulls*it on twitter and no one cares?

yes, exactly! a 80's/90's mini-movie into a music video with a thrilling climax.

They pulled the leaked demo and stuff, but they can't stop some crazy man talking nonsense on his private twitter account.
