I will just wait for whatever she will bring. I mean I loved every album of her initially, except some of I Am... since I was younger and wasn't in a ballad-ish mood back then, I played Sasha to death. She is at a point if her career where she will just do what she feels comfortable. But we'll see what will happen. I enjoy the bones she throws with Runnin' and Hymn.
The Hive is so demanding. I cant with y'all. Let her do what she wants. Shes best when she enjoys what she does. Thats why she always shines when singing 1+1 live or Why don't you love me. They are no hits, but always great moments in any concert shes playing.
There's more negativity in this thread than anticipation ... U can stan for a label puppet whose every career move is boringly predictable or you can stan for a confident proud independent black woman who dances to the beat of her own drum but you cant have it both ways. None of us know what Bey's album is gonna sound like, we know it'll be distinct from ST cus she never a part 2 to her most recent release. To insinuate that she's undergoing a midlife crisis cus she dares to collaborate with producers of a trendy sound is one of the most condescending remarks that can come from a so-called stan but Sammi has been a shipwreck for a while now ... the irony
Her recent performances generally disliked (besides Sammi)? I didnt watch GC in full cus i expect it to be a rehash of MIA which was satisfying for a mid-hiatus show. The intro, haunted, GW-EOT mash-up were highlights for me. The only time i noticed her performance take a shallow dive were the early ST award performances which i think was cuz she was exhausted from touring. Album medley at VMAs was standard showstopping Bey again.
I may not completely love Runnin' but I like the piano & vocal intro and it has really done wonders for her in the UK. Not that she was doing badly with her presence in pop culture, I'm 16 and most of my friends know most of the ST album tracks. But Runnin' is something I hear people singing multiple times daily.
Let's not listen to Glass John of all people. please.

I don't think many Bey stans realise how big Runnin' is in the UK. It was on the radio all the time and still is on the radio a lot.
Me too i don't want a joint album from them if everything about joint album goes left i feel it cause a damage to their credibility, individual career, power etc. They are power couple not because they just A list but because they are both at the top of their game and powerful as individual.
I hope something great comes out of whatever they are doing together or as individuals.
Thank you, KORDEI. I may be too old now and not as active as before, but the things I've done for Beyonce, these cocksuckers ain't ever doing it.
When they get Beyonce's label to respond to them (not once, but multiple times), then we'll talk. Till then, it's better for these newbies to keep their mouth shut.
Ahhh I honestly can't keep up with who is complaining about what. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting chart success and quality. I myself feel the issue is not the lack of hits/pop radio success but more so the missed opportunities. We all know Beyoncé is going to deliver quality 9 times out of 10, so why not wish for promo and chart slayage to go with that? Like obviously it doesn't really matter but the two can go hand in hand. If Beyoncé had handled certain things differently during the self-titled era, she could have got that number 1. If Beyoncé choses not to with the next era, then so be it. We can all sit back and laugh at her self sabotage, whilst enjoying the quality bops she will undoubtedly deliver.
Oh no! So the collab album is back on the tables then? They were both at the super dome filming together... Either way I am ready for whatever she/they have in store.
I might actually cry if BeyJay does a joint album I don't think I'd like it very much. It would be a giant **** stain on her legacy in the long run imo. And considering how many times they have collabed already, what is there to expect? A TIDAL exclusive featuring the brand new hit tracks "Sexy in Love", "Blue in Love", and "Happy in Love"? Naw I'm just not feeling it. And I doubt Bey is either.
