BIGGEST selling maybe, not best selling. Best Selling is different - it has a time period attached to it. Best selling female artist of all time is Mariah Carey because she sold the most albums in the shortest amount of time.
Madonna is the biggest selling female artist - sold the most albums , but over a longer period of time.

Impressive Instant, Runaway Lover, Music, Don't Tell Me... punch after punch.  I wish "Cyberraga" wasn't just a bonus track on the Japanese and Australian release. It links Ray of Light and Music perfectly.
That being said it contains one of the worst songs she's ever recorded: Nobody's Perfect.

Not really, the Hot 100 is a radio chart and radio is not representative of the public's desires. Madonna is all-around bigger than Mariah and that doesn't take anything away from Mariah.

If you take out singles success and look at just album success...
