"Vision of Love" might have supposedly inspired many artists, but "If You Had My Love" went to #1 in more countries and charted in more too. Seriously? "If You Had My Love" is over 16 years old and it's not fresh in anyone's memory. It's still streamed because it was a big hit and is associated with Jennifer Lopez. There are plenty of 1999 hits (and even 2000s hits) that don't get streamed as much.

I agree that "VOL" is legendary in terms of critical acclaim (and "IYHML" definitely isn't), but it's not remembered by the GP.

Unless it's the recent decade, it's not much of a difference. Most people just think of them as '90s songs just like with '80s ones.

The OTF resurgence is actually a really good point, but it doesn't explain why it still regularly gets views.
