I know, this album disappointed a lot of people but imo it's another perfect CD from them! It's poppier and more uptempo than their others CDs (especially it's completely different from the previous one, Ghost Stories) but not worse for this reason! It's always Coldplay after all, they can't do wrong A Head Full Of Dreams is happy, colorful, uplifting and it has some bops actually, pop music fans will love it!
Another album with mixed reactions: Ellie with Delirium has been criticized for selling out and going too mainstream. This albums is different from her previous ones for sure since it's really a big pop record but this is exactly what Ellie wanted to do: she always considered herself as a pop artist (me too) and now that she became more famous she worked with big producers like Max Martin and this is the result. I don't get the hate for it because imo it's simply GREAT, a lot of tracks are pop perfection (Codes, Devotion, Something In The Way You Move, Paradise, Heal >>>); there are a few fillers but there are so many great songs that I don't care, Ellie slayed me one more time
Top 3, Lena fourth studio album, Crystal Sky! First of all, who's Lena: she's a German singer that represented Germany @ Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo and won the contest with the song "Satellite"; Crystal Sky is her last album. One night while I was listening to random music on YT I came across 'Traffic Lights' (the lead single) for the first time and then the song became an obsession for me, so I checked out her album and WOOO LORD. Crystal Sky has a very refined electronic-pop sound, and for me that I love this genre was impossible to not love this CD. Too bad that she's 'famous' just in a few European countries! Check her out because she's really worth it
I like Delirium, people should stop sleeping on it, there are many bops. Glad you highlighted SITWYM, Heal and Devotion, definitely some of its strongest tracks.
