Gift cards are the WORST gift ever. If someone ever gives me one for Christmas i'm convinced they don't love me anymore. You took money that you could spend anywhere and literally turned it into money you can only spend in one place and thought that was a good gift idea? **** all the way off SCROOGE.
I don't see what's wrong with it. I got one to the book store for my dad because he loves books. I got one to the movies for my brother. One to the grocery store for my grandma. I got them ones I knew they would use
Nobody's saying you have to be grateful. I don't care. It's just when people complain about getting giftcards it's like..why. You're getting money to spend regardless.
Yall don't understand. We have it made, we should be lucky and thankful for what we got. Some of yall don't see the bigger picture and tbh it's sad.
I've actually bought presents this year even though they're tragic.
i got my friend and his boyfriend 2 mugs with kerry katona on this this morning and Gail for coronation Street. another friend I bought a one direction themed Twister board game, some temporary tattoos for another and a Justin Bieber calender for the last.

No, we get it. But it's kind of like... It just feels lazy? Like, we are appreciative, but £10 on a gift card at a store where the cheapest things are like £20? I don't know.
i still have one from years ago. they sell so many at the tesco I work at.
i said to my dad in a passing conversation that I watch family guy sometimes and he's bought me family guy pj's for the past 3 years.
Fathers are the worst.
I'd almost rather have gotten nothing than what I got from my parents last year. It's sitting in its giant box in the back of my closet and I feel really bad because it was not cheap but I can't bear to look at it.

noooo I get that. I just feel bad for people who can't even afford clothes and yall are upset over gift cards
Gift cards are a lazy af way of not having to think about what you're going to buy a person
not really though, because I have to think about where they like to shop or eat?? and then they can go and get whatever they want instead of me picking something out that they might not want?? but alright

Maybe we just have different experiences with gift cards because I know I, and I'm sure Josh does too, just receive really generic ones.
