Y'all need to stop bickering about which album is "lyrically better" as if you can somehow measure lyrics objectively. All of it is a matter of opinion. Honestly, the biggest advantage OOTB has is nostalgia. If you were 12-16 when OOTB came out (I was 15), then you will probably have loved it at the time. Some of those songs were either partially written when she was a teenager or inspired by her reflecting on her early high school years.
I love OOTB, but anyone saying it is more "mature" than Teenage Dream or Prism lying to themselves or haven't thought about the lyrics critically enough. I mean she talks about shaving her legs for the first time and that "over the summer something changed" what kind of pubescent anthem? I dare anyone to tell me Ur So Gay is mature. ****ing Peacock is a sign of growth from that.
