So when Edyta was participating in the contest before the main one there was some kind of before-contest where jury from other countries (there was no televoting) must have judged performers. Nevertheless, it was a huge moment for Edyta, when she was singing during rehearsal she forgot Polish version and she started singing in English. It was forbbiden. Some countries wanted her out of contest so they decided to protest. The ppl who were deciding in that case let Edyta to perform. Those countries wanted her to fail so jury from a lot of countries gave her 0 points. And still she end up with 2nd place.

Let's not mention 1996: that horrid Irish song winning over Sveta ljubav (Croatia) and I evighet (Norway) omggg and when in 1993 Ireland won (again!) robbing Switzerland's Moi tout simplement Ireland and the UK only got votes bc they sang in English while the rest of the countries were forced to sing in their national languages glad this changed in 1999, the UK and Ireland have been flopping ever since.

I'm not a huge fan of Madonna but Graffiti Heart is a legitimately awesome song. I probably would've wanted the version with it on my album also. The video gamey sound-effects are hard not to love.
