Well, that was a wild episode. I feel like I'm still processing it.
The shoot-up to Hotline Bling was ridiculous, but I can't decide whether it was good ridiculous or just stupid ridiculous.
I know The Countess must die, but with her gone Ramona's story will be adrift, and we will mostly be left with John Lowe and that boring storyline. Her there as a ghost seems like it would just be...eh. I don't know what they could possibly have her do other than do the typical ghost cameo thing. I think they should have waited to kill her until the finale.
It seems like Donovan achieved his happiness and won't have unfinished business, so I don't know if he will continue as a ghost or not.

The show peaks, hype dies down, ratings fall, less people discuss it on Twitter. All of this applies to AHS, Homeland, The Walking Dead, Empire and etc.
AHS will still probably have 2-3 more seasons on FX

This. I'm used to watching cable shows, and none of the fans ever cared much about even seeing what the ratings were because they'd always be unremarkable to tragic. For example, my fave show of all time Mad Men never got more than 1.6 despite being a defining show, and even then they'd only score those numbers in special cases like a premiere or a finale.
