The rooms aren't meant to be actual replica of each era but more so about how she felt during each era. In this one she is surrounded by voices all talking at once, in order to drown out all the outside noise she goes underwater.
IMO the voices/ people outside the room represent the media or the world who was watching her after 2009. Rih probably felt overwhelmed by everything and everyone voicing their opinion that the only time she could escape was when she was alone. (In a shell)
