Not sure why people are bringing up songwriting, credits, etc...
Also, many people on ATRL seem unable to diffienterate between a "hit" and a "'smash' hit" A hit is a hit. To become a hit does not mean to top charts or necessarily even have an overall stellar performance. While I admit some of the songs mentioned in the OP probably should not be deemed as even "moderate hits", still the majority of them are undeniably hits of some sort.

Her music might become hits on a pop platform, but taking a look at the list above one can see that the only true "pop" hits are Super Bass, Starships, PTA, Va Va Voom, TNISY, and Turn Me On. You can't call her pop because she's a rapper; even in these pure pop hits, she's still RAPPING.

Staying ignorant to the fact that songs like Only, Truffle Butter, Beez in the Trap, and Did It On'em all were top 10 urban hits doesn't change the fact that they were just that - hits.
