If it drops December 18, 2015 it will be eligible for Critics 2016 Best of Lists since they usually start publishing those the first week of December. And December 18th >> January 2016. The sooner the better plus might as well get those Christmas sales. She already has a #1 album so I don't really care about the peak Im worried about the sales.

She will probably start rehearsing in January. A little more than a month would be enough for her choreographies are minimal.

She will get the sales + more shine in January.
I'm not saying December is bad, I want this damn thing out as soon as possible. But the hype around all the quarter 4 releases will die down considerably in January, they will feel christmasy and passé. New year, new music, the focus will be on her. That's why January is so dead sales wise, except for new release. Meghan proved it just this year.
