So true, it was much funnier when we thought it was her real personality

But I guess it worked because I didn't think she was the killer for a while....her creepiness and ineptitude made her too obvious. They just made her look like a loser

Very beginning of the episode. After he told Grace about how he started working for the RDs, told her one was Boone, he was about to tell her who the other one was, and the RD came out of his wardrobe and murdered him. Which makes no sense because he was on the phone at the beginning of this situation, before Grace came in, with the only person left who knew about his involvement....Which had to be Hester.

That's the genius of the finale. It completely flipped this show on it's head and deconstructed it in the most ingenious way possible. This selfish, self-abosrbed, vapid rich girl who gets away with whatever she wants FINALLY gets her comeuppance because she gets so narcissistic, haughty, and big headed that she quite literally creates her own downfall.

The show took a character it had been glorifying and toying with redemption all season (despite clearly being a monster) and completely flips these notions, that the audience was backing, on their heads and shows laser guided karma striking her and her followers, with a clear message of "DO NOT be a Chanel" (something some fans definitely need to hear)

and, let's be real, should have at the end considering no self-respecting jury irl would change things like that

Of course not, but that was hilarious and there was a point to be made.

- is exactly what made her different, and what made people love or hate her so much. She's everything people hate - evil with zero accountability or consequences. And it's wonderful.

As said above, the genius of the finale is it flips this notion of "Look at me! I'm rich! I'm hot! I'm popular! Everything WILL work out for me, I can be as evil and malicious and cruel as I want because it just DOES NOT matter at ALL." on it's head and shows that, no, you can't do that. It will catch up to you, no one will be there to back you (the Chanels could have quite easily overcome Hester's lies if they'd stood up for one another, but instead each Chanel was content to watch the others fall to save her own skin), and everyone will be there to cheer as you go al the way down. As said, it completely flips this show on it's head in the most ingenious way possible

Even her "punishment" in the end is a cop out from the lethal injection she would have normally gotten after so many murders.

If you'd prefer her to have gotten lethal injection, that's fine. I'm okay with her being stuck in an Asylum for life

Although, another confusing bit....remember when she was talking to Chad in the graveyard and basically hinting that she would kill Zayday when she became president, so presidency would go to her?

This is why the finale was anticlimatic! They should have just left her alone with being a creepy lunatic

Grace being the killer could have been an annoying character turning to one of the smartest psycho girl in TV history. While Hester being the RD ended up being a hilarious character with an unhigned personality yet people like her turned out being annoying. I can't handle these messy shifts!

Scream Queens is competing in the comedy categories but Jamie Lee is the only one with real chances of getting nominated and after her is Emma but she has really bad odds.

In supporting only Lea is considered but none of them are getting nominated.

I'm not upset because the killer wasn't Grace (although, how ****ing pointless of characters were her and her Dad in retrospect now. How ****ing pointless was the fact that Wes was the bathtub father??) I'm upset because they sloppily revealed the killer at the beginning of the finale. I'm upset because the finale provided no closure for any of the storylines. I'm upset that nobody ****ing died. I'm upset that the bulk of the finale was just showing Hester accusing the Chanels.

The saving grace of the finale was that it was hilarious...Hester accusing the others and the fake parents, blackmailing the other parents, etc was great.

But plot wise, just lazy

The pacing was off, but I'd say ultimately that was the best part. The show turning on the Chanels was glorious

The rollercoaster ride that was Dorkus for me tho. Before the episode properly started I was thinking it was Grace, then Pete's whole reveal and I was like "wait was it Pete?!" Then he reveals it's on the Kappa girls, then he gets killed, then I spent the next minutes wondering if it was Hester, then I see Hester minding ha business in Chanel's closet before #5 left Melanie's house and gave the camera that smirk and I screamed "IT'S HER! IT'S #5!!" Then Chanel all of a sudden tries to kill Melanie and I thought it was Chanel going to reveal herself as the killer. As soon as Grace and Zayday find out who the Bathtub baby is they go running into that scene I thought they were gonna expose Chanel. Then they actually expose Hester. Then we go back to Kappa and #5 looks like a suspicious mess then Hester's on the floor with ha ****ed up eye and blamed #5 as the episode ends and yet again I was back on board with #5. I was soooooo ready and excited for the explanation towards everything and what led her to do those things. It was looking so good. Then 10 seconds later Hester opens the next damn episode revealing herself as the killer. I was so mad.
