As I said, Hester being the killer was bad in my opinion only because it was predictable. That's not what actually ruined the finale for me. Rather the dumb explanations of how everything happened.

I thought that was pretty try-hard. The real life email was more absurd, ridiculous, and vicious than the exaggerated parody.

It's Fox. They couldn't have her do much more with that e-mail. But even though it paled in comparison to the actual e-mail, it was still ruthlessly funny, and it was executed in a brilliant way.

When there's a bunch of plotholes throughout a show, the chances of a finale that doesn't have plotholes is non-existent. Especially with Murphy. I'd think Coven and Freak Show proved that. There were actually LESS holes than I'd anticipated somehow. And this at least played the fact that none of this sh** made any sense for some great humor

I genuinely didn't see Hester coming. And considering almost this entire forum decided Grace was guilty (with a few Chanel/Chanel #5 votes and like 1-2 Hester votes... so no one suspected the actual killer), a lot of ATRL didn't either. Fair enough if you called her, but this isn't a Scream MTV "everyone saw it coming" scenario, at leat.

Also, the very last scene of the show?

Yeah, if there's another season, that scene better be revealed to have ended RIGHT. She didn't go through a whole season, a ridiculously ****ing stupid finale, and the most shittily-written try-to-be-funny court case in television history just for that to happen.

they easily could have shown a flashback of grace overhearing them from another room or her asking where chanel #2 was going when she was going to her room to pack her things.

I liked how it was shot and all, but the writing was a miss. Even taking into account Fox limitations, it could've been more outrageous. What I was thinking for a good 3/4ths of the email was "Chanel was worse in the pilot than she is now."

The moral of the story is that we shouldn't ever have taken the show so seriously.

I blame all of this on Ryan's interviews. He made the show seem like each episode was going to be filled with clues so it made all of us look for a deeper meaning behind everything.

If there's another season we should all take everything at face value and move on.

I wanted it to be Grace and I thought it would be because of her extraordinarily poor personality otherwise, but a deaf-blind four year old on prescription Xanax could have connected the dots with the brunette girl being Boone's sister or the girl with the death obsession being a wacked out murderer. And for that, I hate Ryan.

Grace being utterly useless. Grace just believed Hester over Pete? Both of them did not present paternity to the court or anyone! Whole season long wanting to solve the damn mystery then not fighting for the clues she got

This was a problem from WAY before the finale, so it's not The Final Girl(s) fault. It would've made no sense regardless of who was the killer and had repeatedly been pointed out.

She was with Chad so... she was proooobably acting shocked.

Hester got pushed down the stairs got her neck snapped. If she did not have that sickness then that stupid story of her getting it fixed is fake.

The fall probably damaged something without killing her cause, ya know, neckbrace. Notice how she kept wearing it despite her neck and back supposedly being fixed

I loved that too, especially considering she got exactly what she deserved in the finale. For awhile it was driving me nuts, but Ryan definitely knew what he was doing there
