As I said, Hester being the killer was bad in my opinion only because it was predictable. That's not what actually ruined the finale for me. Rather the dumb explanations of how everything happened.

When there's a bunch of plotholes throughout a show, the chances of a finale that doesn't have plotholes is non-existent. Especially with Murphy. I'd think Coven and Freak Show proved that. There were actually LESS holes than I'd anticipated somehow. And this at least played the fact that none of this sh** made any sense for some great humor
I genuinely didn't see Hester coming. And considering almost this entire forum decided Grace was guilty (with a few Chanel/Chanel #5 votes and like 1-2 Hester votes... so no one suspected the actual killer), a lot of ATRL didn't either. Fair enough if you called her, but this isn't a Scream MTV "everyone saw it coming" scenario, at leat.
