I'm still standing by my theory that Murphy thought he was getting a full season and didn't give himself enough wiggle room to turn this into an actual season finale. Because let's be real, if this had been a smash hit it would have gotten a full season order so FOX could cash in on it. And Ryan Murphy probably has an ego big enough to think it would be a guarantee. He didn't get the back 9 episodes, so he couldn't finish it properly and shoehorned in some stuff to what would have otherwise been a winter finale.


C/H/A/N/E/L, I agree with you that it is most likely cancelled but for different reasons. It might have had something to do with the ending he picked, but part of me feels like this was intended to be the ending for this section of the season all along.

EXACTLY. The amount of pressed people because they didn't get what they wanted at all. Like get a grip with it, it's a damn show. Besides, it was a decent finale. It'll be nice to get a second season, just to see what happens, but I'm pleased.

And I said that Grace wasn't the killer countless times when people decided to actualize what was said on a freaking IMDB forum and take it as the truth. No one believed me, but now, I'm dying from all the reactions on here

I am curious what all the promo shots were for, but and people don't realize this most of the time, some of the shots aren't actually used on the show, like tonight's. There are other TV shows that do the same thing

I honestly don't understand what you mean about this not getting a full-season. It had 13 episodes, just like AHS does. And AHS has NEVER had such a **** ending like this. It was always going to be this long. I stand by the idea that he chose this ending because the show was cancelled, not the other way around.

I'm calling it now. Scream Queens moves to FX and they air the ACTUAL finale as the Season 2 premiere, and then head straight to the next theme of the season with the 2nd episode.

What's REALLY gonna annoy me now is that we're NEVER gonna hear these words from Ryan or the cast. They're NEVER gonna say "Yeah, it was a **** ending, and we know that. It just happened because the show got cancelled." All we're gonna hear is either them staying MUTE, them PRAISING IT, or them saying "I would've loved to do more with it!"

I literally don't understand what you're saying. Yes some shows have long season runs like How To Get Away With Murder, but there are also shows with this many episodes in a season?
