Doctors DID say I had "Einstein's syndrome" where I was a late talker because I was too smart?!?! Like that seems like some suburban parent ******** to me.

Yeah, I'm kinda with Tymps on this one. I too had a bunch of misdiagnoses for issues I had when I was a teenager. At one point I was diagnosed with AD/HD (after going through the standard battery of testing) and the medications they put me on just ****ed me up. Then I was diagnosed with a different condition. And another. Each with different courses of treatment and medications. None helped.
Modern psychiatry and psychopharmacology are still pretty poor in a lot of ways
