To create discussion. But a lot of them are not impossible.

This. Round 4's hint is the easiest. I already said it was a repeat challenge from another season...

We're almost one of the 100 biggest Tournaments on ATRL ever!
Last season HT finished as the 49th biggest or something but was quickly bumped out of the top 50 by other active Tournaments.
Also my judging highkey sucks. Sorry. This is why I don't do this on a regular basis.

yall...I felt like no one deserved bottom this round. I feel bad for the lowest in my rankings because someone had to be there but that didn't translate into their entry being horrible. I think everyone did really well for a new round like this.

Navyofbadgals - I can't say that it doesn't fit your character in relation to how the movie goes, because you did a good job of making sure it did, but I know little of how this character is in terms of personality. I think I would've appreciated it more if I knew about who she was as a person. (If it was in the spoiler section, I didn't read it jic I ever decide to watch the movie)
wesleywalrus - I liked how you decided to delve into his character traits and how they relate both to happenings in the movie and in the songs. The character fits the season, too! I did get a bit confused by your word choices (like Kevin definitely showed some maturity in the movie at times, but I'd hardly consider him a young adult), but that's neither here nor there.
Staryu - I enjoyed seeing an introspective to how the character relates to you, and your song choices were all very fitting given how you chose to compare them to your character. It wasn't really about you, and that wasn't a part of the challenge, but for me it added something to your entry. Also, I liked your use of pictures.
Witch_Privilege - LOVED seeing you have another underlying theme, especially one that would relate to your character. Anyway, I felt your second and third song choices were a bit of a reach, but I was humored by how you chose to describe them, particularly "Water Me". With how you did choose to describe your character, though, I think you did well on relating the songs to your chosen character.
Supwerpower - Bitch your songs felt too perfectly connected to your character. I don't really have anything to criticize you on because you hit every nail on the head with this entry. (It was a bit obnoxious to look at but who am I to be saying that really. )
A Bomb - Why the **** did we never watch this movie on Skype bitch? This sounds much more fun than Katy Perry's Part of Me! Anyway, I enjoyed your sense of humor throughout, and from what I can tell, you had good song choices.
lovesong - Another great entry from Kitt! No but this kinda did remind me of her because of the feminist theme. ANYWAY, you did a great job at relating the songs to your character and showing the different facets of her personality.
Sam - How the **** did you manage to find songs with those titles that even remotely resembled the movie titles tifvnjdc. Anyway, I felt like I got to know a bit more about the character (seeing as I never have seen/will see the movies or read the books) and you sufficiently linked the character to your song choices.
J P O W - I remember seeing the scene where Divine ate dog poop on youtube somewhere. Good thing it's fake! Anyway, it was really interesting to me how you chose this character because it deviates from what most people would think to go for. You have quite the odd character, and I think you did a fairly good job of linking the songs to your character.
Dessy Fenix - I'm not sure if I agree with your first song choice. Your other 2 choices are fine enough, though! It doesn't seem like Stitch is a very dynamic character based on how you described him, though. Just going from "bad" to "good".
MusicLoverDude - The text looks better unbolded! Idk if you didn't do it for all the text because of time constraints, but it looks better imo. ANYWAY, I liked how you went through the story with your song choices, but also let us see what Ariel is like as a character.
Moonchild - Love your character choice! You did a brilliant job of showcasing your characters evolution throughout the film, and your song choices did the job of relating to the character.
rl231 - Your embed on "Shake It out" flopped. ): But other than that, your had great song choices to relate to your character. Also, having not seen the movie, I was thinking that a character that is a personification of one emotion wouldn't be all that dynamic of a character, but you did a great job of showing different parts to Joy.
genetic fail - You flopped on one of your embeds. Anyway, I love your approach to the challenge, like we're getting a bit of a narrative from the character herself. I also liked your resoning behind the songs you chose.

Navyofbadgals: Holding on for Life is an okay choice but sometimes it didn’t fit (like the line “Giving up the fight” which is the complete opposite). I think What’s a Girl to Do is comparison was a very creative approach to take. All By Myself served a good purpose in your trinity but choosing that song is pretty trite even though ugh I love that song and it’s genius.
wesleywalrus: Someday felt like it was reaching a little although I did see where you were coming from. In This Diary was a really original way to tackle the character and it made sense too. Here I Am added a really good contrast to the trinity and was a good way to close it. I haven’t seen the movie (just tbh!) but it sounds like it was a perfect song for that moment.
Staryu: I liked how you presented your character and made it more than just a plot synopsis. Your song choices were fitting but they all seemed to say the same things. One of the reasons I wanted to do this round with movies was because movies normally show many sides of a character, and to me it feels like you only explored one side of your character.
Witch_Privilege: I liked your choice in character and how you saw multiple facets of Squidward. I thought you had really good song choices that delved far past the superficial and I really enjoyed them. It’s hard to find good songs about things like ennui and I think you pulled it off very well, even if you had to add new meaning to the lyrics. The water motif was kind of a kii though lmao.
Superpower: Your song choices are not inventive but they’re perfect fits and serve their needed purposes precisely. Not really much to say!
A Bomb: That description of the movie was a kii! Cherry Gum captures that girlishness while even also keeping some of the sexualization imo (since I always hear “you will hear me when I c u m”). Cookie Thumper and Kinda Outta Luck were reaching. I know those were hard concepts to find songs for; maybe it would’ve been better to choose more general songs? Always appreciate the personality though, it makes your entries interesting.
lovesong: I found it cool how the sound of the songs sounded like nothing from Mulan but it still worked. It was almost like I was listening to a modern, electronic version of Mulan. My main qualm is that I don’t think this was a very original or exciting concept for your trinity.
Sam : Okay so tbh I’m gonna be a little harder on you because I actually know this franchise. But the first two songs, the first one especially, felt a little too simple and light-hearted for Katniss. The Hunger is not depicting Katniss’ attitude towards really anything. If it was just one song with a more upbeat attitude it would be okay, but the fact more than half of the trinity is that way makes it feel like you’re misrepresenting the character. Mockingbird imo was the song that fit the best.
J P O W: I like you chose such a unique character. I think it was kinda cheap to have a cover of ha song in your trinity tho I’d also argue BBHMM is about something more specific than revenge, namely getting $$$, and you could’ve found something more general. The last song, however, was a perfect fit and I loved your explanation.
Dessy Fenix: These were really simple ways of looking at your character. He’s a monster so you use a song called Monster. They’re friends so you use a song about friendship. I was looking for something more interpretive and less uncomplicated in my judging personally. Also Monster was sort of a weird choice outside of just the title.
MusicLoverDude: This was a pretty standard way of looking at Ariel but your songs fit what you were saying, and it was deeper than just plot-based. I also like how you sort of had a point to your trinity with the last little paragraph.
Moonchild: Georgia on My Mind was obvious but also kind of ingenious. All your songs explored different sides of Scarlett and you even supplied quotes from the movie. You interpreted the character well; good job!
rl231: I don’t think Joy was a good character to choose; I mean, how do really interpret a character or say anything interesting about them when their sole purpose is to just be happy? I think you did what you could for the most part with the character but there wasn’t really much to do.
genetic fail: I like the quotes, it shows you’re staying true to the character! Your songs fit well too! This entry didn’t especially stand out to me but you did well!
