Well, there was until the elimination of NHB (rest in peace, sis; 2003-2012), but that left us with the un-reportable SYG, until the Hive realized they could use "ape" against Rihanna like the Navy did against Bey for years and thus SYG got overhauled.

I think that was just the community of the kpop thread agreeing with eachother that no one would report eachother in that thread. That doesn't mean it's exempt from ATRL's rules. It just means that people agreed they won't report eachother.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, because I honestly don't really know the history of the kpop thread.

That is correct. You can call a thread a report free zone if you want, but the truth is, anyone can report any post in it, and any post can and will be warned. Even when that phrase was in the OP, we got reports and warned posts. We're now cracking down on the blatant rule violations that continue to happen in the thread.

Any kind of post a pic thread is generally isn't allowed. For one thing, it gets messy quick and there's that typical ATRLer who think it's edgy to quote someone's picture as a flamebait response.

Along with the revamped site, we should have revamped rules for what is considered "Flamebait"

Expressing "X artist is more talented than Y" is apparently flamebait, but an offensive GIF/avatar targeting a specific artist is OK.

Context matters and there are ways of being respectful in how you word an opinion. Send a help request if you think that avatar is beyond the acceptable guidelines. Mods can't answer about specific incidents without being pointed to it. Sometimes they just don't know it's there among other things they deal with (if you think it's bad for a user browsing this slow site; imagine the load they have to deal with in terms of dealing with reports and HRs).

May I ask what's the difference between an ATRL contributor and a moderator? Because you sound like you're either a moderator or at least campaigning to be one.

I agree by the way. The amount of times I've been given a WP for 'flame bait' for the most harmless trivial stuff is just bizarre.
