I honestly think the ensemble cast does not work for AHS. it's better to have a lead with a main storyline and a few sub-stories that connect. There are just TOO many things going on and it feels messy.

I did like this episode. The reveal scene was MAGNIFICENT. Sarah KILLED it as usual.
And i like how they connected everything, it didn't seem far-fetched. And for once, i actually kinda liked Wes' acting.

I find this season so weird. Like, there are episodes with so much potential, then there are episodes that feel so out of place. It's a bit all over the place.

Btw, is Murder House going to be mentioned again? I thought characters from past seasons were suppose to start checkin in a few episodes back. Or are they going to appear in the next episodes?

And i'm sorry guys, but Gaga is back to being mediocre. I cringed when she opened the door for Will and Donovan and said 'cute' (or something, i don't remember).
How is it possible that she showed SOME kind of acting charisma in the flashback scenes, but she's so bad in modern times?

But i remember Ryan specifically saying we would see a few characters from past season in this. i think he said, starting episode 6.

The thing that bothered me this episode was the concept that they all played along with John not knowing/remembering what he was doing (everybody? really?) when doing so makes half of the dialogue from previous not make ANY sense

the only thing that confused me is WHY is he just remembering everything now? When he was confessing to everything, he seemed so calm. Like, he knew all along but was keeping it hidden.

Room 33, Flicker and Mommy are the best episodes, followed by episode 2 and 1.

So the synopsis for Episode 10 is that Iris & Liz leave the Hotel. Does that mean that Iris' sweet babyboy gets killed so she has no reason to stay any longer inside the Cortez?

because it had to happen someday?

mr march manipulated him - his subconsciousness - while he was drunk and in a desperate depression while he also suffered from blackouts.

the whole time he thought he was the good guy searching for the killer.
he was only aware of his good side. then sally did open his eyes with reviewing the killings and telling him directly that he is the killer. then he expanded his thinking and for a second deemed it possible that in fact he is the killer, which he never did while conscious. then he could remember every thought he oppressed and his evil side which he tried to controll all the time.

it's noteworthy how mr march told him when they first met that he has a black aura,
so john always had a dark side but he never lived it.

in the end he saw himself for what he really is and probably has no 2 personalities anymore.

if you add a bit ''he was a bit insane the whole time'' it PERFECTLY makes sense.

And the twist was VERY predictable for anyone that has played Silent Hill 2, and this season takes a lot from SH2 and Seven, like S1 took from Rosemary's Baby. I saw it coming the moment we got character descriptions.

I agree with that user about the season reaching a turning point. It could either be amazing as MH and Asylum or ****ing awful as Coven and FS. They need to focus more on the vampire kids/Ramona's revenger/The Countess' plan and give less time for John.
But the next episode really has to be amazing, like it's so full of many intense storylines

I agree, it's obvious 10CK is not the season seller but the vampirism and who'll be the one who kills the Countess. No wonder Flicker got amazing scores because it was essentially just one big vampire galore (The Countess mainly). I really like this episode though, sans John's acting when he has to portray anger
