Edit: Oh you mean two episodes in FS. Well I never had peace in the living room as I tried to watch it and didn't really know what was going on. It was boring me plus at the time, it was too late to stay up and watch it as I needed sleep.

Take it from one of the few people on this planet who actually likes Freakshow: watch it like a movie.
You're at an advantage since you have it in full. tbh the people who liked Coven and maybe even Asylum won't like watching FS week to week because it is a slow-burn, not jumps-at-every-turn. The first half of Freakshow is simply character-driven world-building. Like GoT before episode 9. The second half is completely different.
Freakshow is basically like watching a house of cards collapse. You go in with a feeling of doom from the first episode on because there is totally a vibe that good times are coming to an end and bad times lay ahead. The characters themselves practically say so. Then mid-way through the season, something happens, and it's like a spark, and you realize how fragile that house of cards was before it all comes crashing down around them.
So sit back, enjoy, and don't take it so serious. It's a great ride if you have the proper mindset for it.
