True. Style is good but Wildest Dreams is amazingly unique and undoubtedly the best song off 1989, reflected in the quality of their music videos.

Shake It Off outlasted Blank Space and Style (and Bad Blood??) on the Hot 100.

Shake it Off remains superior to 2/5 of the 1989 singles. Blank Space was cute but got old quick. And Bad Blood was just a mess from the start.

I spotted a lie. Shake It Off was cute for a good half a year but it was Blank Space that managed to sound timeless. Even though Shake It Off managed to outlast it and become much more memorable.

WAWN was nice, but I had no history with Bowie and it wasn't a strong introduction to him. From the very first time I played TSAOT, I was absolutely hooked. My most played rock song ever.

I don't think Shadow was a single at that time?

I struggled with Shake Shake and Blessed Space the way that I am now struggling with Stylish Dreams. But I stand by my decision. Space is never catching Shake in my iTunes library, or on my weekly countdown.
