I need Ariana to connect with her fans through the music. After listening to Taylor's music lately, I realize people like her stuff so much not because it's good (most of it is bad), but because she really connects. Sure Ariana can make us dance and weep with her vocals, but I really need her to connect on an emotional level. Maybe Ari just hasn't lived enough yet...
On the other hand, I do really really want more Break Free like bops... but none of that Problem/Focus stuff. I enjoy her being experimental, too... but I want her to attempt bjork/imogen heap levels of experimental. I adore when she dabs into other genres... All My Love is an amazing reggae influenced jam.
I wonder if we will have to wait for one of her dogs to die in order for Ari to have enough emotion to produce something tear jerking. I don't even know if she would be convincing... her voice is so damn angelic that it don't know if she can do anything aside from cute/adorable/etc.
