The other males I found in the digital era with 3 multi-week-sales-T5s:
JT - Sexy/Love/Around = 3
TI - Whatever/Live Your Life/Dead and Gone = 3
Akon - Smack/Wanna/Matter/Blame = 4

I suppose I do remember Akon being everywhere, and Wiki says his album pushed 2.8 mil in the US, yet it just feels like he didn't have THAT much impact. Such that he had #1/#1/#2(/#7) hits from one album. Perhaps it's just cuz I didn't like his songs.

I think Adele will be safe if they use 0 sales instead of negative sales. Her airplay and streaming are better than his so she will be fine.

then next weeks she will go from 0 to some sales, so she won't lose number one.

I think if Justin team would know something about this (is she going to have 0 sales, or not, negative sales or not) they probably would release music video for Sorry this week. But I guess they - so are we - know nothing.

ALSO - let's not forget HELLO on Fallon with the Roots and instruments. That's has a lot views and who knows, maybe Billboard will count that too

Why are people mentioning Justin releasing a video for "Sorry." Just because he's not in that video that's on VEVO doesn't mean that it isn't the video.

Justin just loves himself, I don't think he's gonna lose the opportunity to make an apparence on the music video of one of his biggest singles. Also, the song first was under the title "(Dance Video)" and now it's part of the "Purpose Movement", those videos are not the official ones

Wait, so there's a possibility Sorry could go #1 because of negative points? I thought sales still counted for points on the Hot 100 even though they are subtracted for the total.

However.. Out of the Woods debuting at #18 last year proves my theory wrong. I guess we don't really know.

How could Adele still be #1 with airplay and streaming alone, especially when Justin is predicted to sell ~176k and she would have -200-300k sales?

It was originally meant to be a lyric video before they just made it a dance video. So it was always just gonna be an extra promotional tool.

The video is probably coming first two weeks of December. Scooter is definitely watching the charts.

They used to count for the Hot 100, yes. But the placement of a lot of songs on this weeks Hot 100 suggests that they don't count for the Hot 100 anymore.

OOTW was an instant grat track. They used to count a while back too, but that was changed publicly in the week before OOTW was released. Now we are talking about CMA tracks.

As long as Hello doesn't get negative points from sales it will be #1. Lead in streaming and airlpay is bigh enough. The prediction from GER on the last page is with 0 sales for Hello.

When you hit "complete my album" on iTunes those sales for the singles you had bought before were always substracted from the sales totals of those songs, but still counted for the Hot 100.
Now they don't count for the Hot 100 anymore. So the singles of big albums will go down a bit on the Hot 100 during album release week (really the only week where there is a lot of complete my album).

Hello will have 0 sales next week because of that, but should still be #1 on the Hot 100, because it's streams and airplay are that big.

No I'm pretty sure he mentioned that there'd be an official video coming soon. I obviously hope they wait till Hello slows down a little to release it but who knows maybe it never will slow down...

Still I don't know why BB doesn't use 'old' sales to compile Hot100. Hot Digital Song of course has to include CMA effect becaus of revenue and TEA but if someone buy 'Hello' first, it's obvious the song is popular...

I'm confused. Why is everyone thinking that the CMA rule has been removed? What happened on this week's chart that is making people worried?

CMA won't affect Hello's chart position. It only affects the song's placement on HDS & its overall digital sales, but not its H100 position. Pretty sure they changed it to that sometime in 2013.

We know that, but if you read back a few pages you'd see some people think they've changed this rule back based on the chart positions of I'll Show You, WDYM, and Perfect.
