I love going into Photoshop, making a nice avi, even being somewhat proud of your creation, then clicking "Save for Web..." to see the actual result be significantly low quality. Just makes my day!

I can understand it, even I've done it once or twice. I feel like it's usually either for emotional reasons or a lack of time management. Someone is upset but doesn't want to post around the forum all depressed, or they just aren't capable of removing themselves from the site but they have to in order to complete something for work/school.

Maybe. I think most people do it for attention though. Just disappearing isn't as eventful as people suddenly discovering you're banned and everyone asking "omg what happened? where did he go?"

Kinda true I get that feeling sometimes as well, especially with perma ones. Like whenever someone requests a permaban I pretty much never believe it, and most will just come back less than a month later. My post was mostly about requested ones that are a month or under (assuming RihRihRoman's wasn't a perma.)

Yeah, I've seen people request a short ban to finish a project or focus on studying during exam period which is fair enough. But asking for a permaban and then coming back a couple of weeks later just shows you're a drama queen (although that's nothing new on here either).
Kinda. He used to be a full-time YouTuber, but recently he's focussing more on his music career. ATRL kinda likes him because he's openly gay, his music is nice but not something I especially like.
