Islamic states never required burkas until Islamic extremists got into power. Trust me I'm a history major. Oh and neither Adam and Eve were required to wear burkas by g-d. Keep telling yourself you follow your religion by wearing a demeaning burka.

I'm a history major as well, mind you. Have you spoken to the people who are going to be affected by this law? Have you asked them for their opinion? Speak for yourself when you make statements like "You should be as free as your hair babe." That's your idea of freedom. This might mortify women currently wearing the burqa. Have you thought about how they will move forward from this? Selfish, arrogant and stubborn. You promote hatred and intolerance.
