Artists around her age love her and have praised her multiple times though. Britney is a joke, but she's not seen as one anymore. Everyone respects her hustle.

Sis, those were for her own records. MATM was an exception and it was for Britney's album. To simply put it for you: Madonna is never the featured artist, except for when it comes to Britney Spears.
Lots of people like her (especially those that grew up with her), but she's not respected as a musician or anything... As a pop icon sure, but that's very different.

Girl I don't care what the records were for. Madonna is/was an older pop star trying to stay young and relatable. Therefore she collaborated/collaborates with the young hot artists at the time. If it wasn't Britney it would have been whoever else it was.
Madonna should not be used as a reference point for anybody's status. She'll work with whoever is popular at the moment. She was featured on a Ricky Martin album cut of all things.
Britney has been very successful in her own right and carved her own way through the industry which is probably why she's rightfully respected.
