There is so much misinformation spreading about the XCX censorship. Mostly due to this picture:
When in actuality, that is NOT the censored outfit. I can't find anywhere on google images that actually have the real less skimpy outfit. The one pictured above has a layor of armor on. Lyn's swimsuit is now just the boy shorts and sports bra, almost exactly like this one:
So it's not like some kind of ridiculous censorship, it's very reasonable because she's a 13/15 year old girl...
I do think the removal of the boob slider is bizarre, there's tons of sims and karaoke games and stuff that have T ratings and still have a boob slider. It just adds another layor of character creation. It's not that big of a deal though
