I like action as well (along the lines of martial arts) but it definitely needs more than just some action scenes. Horror too (as long as it's not explicit, like showing the veins within an arm or something) and definitely mystery
also love me some boy-on-boy love too  (although I doubt they'll even air anything homosexual on TV in SK)

There's a drama called Life Is Beautiful that features a closeted gay couple that come out to their families. Their like in their 30's and it makes it so cute. There's a condensed edited version uploaded on youtube that has just their scenes but you might miss out on bits of info. I recommend.
